ABOUT ME

Professionally trained  and experienced in hairdressing, wigs, hair styling, make up, prosthetics and body painting. Artist with over 15 years experience in film, TV, fashion and events in the UK.

 

Juliana is a "all rounder artist" working in the hair and make up department for film and TV productions for main UK and US broadcasters such as Disney, Warner Bros, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple +, BBC, ITV, SKY, Fox and HBO.

Juliana is originally from Brazil and she first moved to London in 2000. Her journey in hairdressing and make up began back in Brazil in 2009 as a hairdresser assistant in hair saloons. Returning to the UK in 2011, she trained as a hair and makeup artist at Christine Blundell Make Up Academy for Film and TV and she continued to improve her skills through ongoing shorter courses.

Alongside early film work, Juliana gained extensive product knowledge working as a makeup consultant for brands like Chanel, MAC, Nars and Bobbi Brown in several retailers across London gaining valuable experience with diverse skin tones and skin types. Alongside the make up journey, Juliana continued dedicated to improve her hair skills specially in period hair and wig styling.

She also worked as an interpreter at the Sassoon Academy while taking her professional training in haircuts.

​Juliana expanded into prosthetics, specialising in silicone running and prosthetics application after working at KM Effects.

She mainly works in hair and makeup for film and TV, with additional experience in fashion shows, photoshoots, events, and makeup competitions.
